The glow is just bright enough to calm her fears but dim enough that she drifts off without fussing. That happy character face adds such a cozy touch to the whole room, and the hidden light source means no harsh shadows on the wall.

My toddler actually asks to go to bed now because she loves seeing her character's happy face light up the room. The glow is soft enough that it doesn't keep her awake, but bright enough that she feels safe walking to the bathroom at night.

My daughter actually asks to go to bed now just so she can turn on her little glowing friend. The soft light from the character's face is just enough to calm her fears without keeping her awake, and it's been a total game-changer for our bedtime routine.
