The holes are perfectly spaced for little fingers, and the five themed cards give us plenty of rotation before boredom kicks in. My four-year-old has been lacing away quietly for twenty minutes straight, which feels like a small miracle.

My toddler grabbed these the moment the box opened and stayed focused threading the string through every single hole. The five different themes give us plenty of rotation, and the card stock feels thick enough to survive a few enthusiastic drops.

The five cards have nice, sturdy edges, so my three-year-old can push the lace through without bending them. I like that each theme is totally different, which keeps her switching between sets instead of getting bored. We’ve used them on car rides and at the kitchen table, and they’ve held up great
